Margaret Brooks January 12, 1928 – April 29, 2018 Margaret Brooks, 90, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Sunday, April 29, 2018 at 4:32 pm in Franciscan Health – Michigan City,. Private family services will be conducted. Burial will take place in Greenwood Cemetery.

The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN is handling arrangements. She was born January 12, 1928 in Michigan City, Indiana to the late Paul and Wanda (Dessaules) Reinholz. On August 9, 1952 in Michigan City, IN she married Maurice Brooks who preceded her on November 5, 2005.

Surviving are a daughter, Debra (Jeff) Sutherlin of Bent Mountain, VA; son, David Brooks of Michigan City, IN; sister, Erika Hansen of Michigan City, IN; brother, Robert Reinholz of Michigan City, IN; four grandchildren, Amanda Brooks, Paul Brooks, Cody Loetz and Brett Loetz, all of Michigan City, IN; and several great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by three sons, Donald, Barry and Douglas Brooks. Margaret enjoyed watching the birds and other wildlife and her visits to Blue Chip Casino.
