Margaret Helen Kraft, 82, of Belgrade, passed away July 13, 2018 at her home, with her loving family at her side. She was born July 3, 1936 in Bozeman to Adam and Audrey (Lawrence) Zindler. She was raised and educated in Bozeman, graduating from Gallatin High School.

She married Ralph Kraft on April 2, 1954 in Bozeman, MT. She was a homemaker and ranch wife, and successfully raised 4 children. She was an active participant with Ralph, running a ranch as well as running all the machinery.

… Read More » Margaret was an amazing cook, cooking up some delicious meals, especially her homemade bread and donuts. When she had a minute to relax she would embroider or play cards, (Canasta and Hearts). She had been a stock car racer in the powder puff race at the Gallatin Speedway.

Margaret had a great sense of humor and was funny, and a little bit mischievous. She will be remembered for her heart of gold. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ralph, her children Richard and Helen, her siblings Fred and Dorothy, and granddaughter Donna. Survivors include Robert Kraft of Belgrade, Donald (Janet) Kraft of Gallatin Gateway, 8 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren, as well as her sister Carol Zindler of Belgrade, and Dennis (Elaine) Zindler of Bozeman, MT. A celebration of life open house is planned for Wednesday, July 25, 2018 from 4 to 6 pm at Dahl Funeral & Cremation Service Tribute Center.
