Margaret Jennielane Pickrell Pennington, 76, passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2018 at Alamance Regional Medical Center surrounded by her family. She was born on March 10, 1942 in Rockingham County to the late Lee Roy Pickrell and Margaret Craddock Pickrell and was the wife to the late W. Ervin Pennington. She retired from childcare and dearly loved children.

Margaret is survived by her loving children, Dawn Pennington-Weisner (Chuck), Donna Mumford (Tommy); grandchildren, Brock Jones (Heather), Daniel Mumford (Michelle),T.J. Mumford (Kerri), Amber Bledsole (Blake); great grandchildren, Martina (Brandon), Jonathan, Emma, Brody, Colby, Ellee; great great grandchild, Brantley.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents;grandparents, David and Lalia Hamlett Craddock and George Luther and Virginia Knowles Pickrell; brother, Marshall Pickrell. The funeral service will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Darrell Massey with the burial to follow at Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6pm-8pm Friday at the funeral home and other times at the residence.
