Margaret Ellen Jennings-Jones, 98, of Indiana went home to be with the Lord on Friday, February 15, 2019 at St. Andrew’s Village. . The daughter of Nathan Strass and Margaret Grace (Buggs) Jennings.

She was born April 14, 1920 in Indiana. Ms. Jones was a 1940 graduate of Indiana Sr High School. She attended nursing school and had been employed for Rev.

Brady & Olive Fair Nursing Home, Bea and Charles States Nursing Home, Indian Haven, and then for the Indiana Regional Medical Center for 20 years from which she retired in 1986. Margaret was a member of the Pilgrim Church of God and Christ located in Johnstown. She was also active in community service.

She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Surviving are daughters, Marian Franklin, Toledo, OH and Sharon Jones-Elery, Indiana; grandchildren, Charles (Nicole) Elery, Jr., Homer City, John (Irene) Elery, Blacklick, Robert, Kristian and Janet Franklin, all of Toledo, OH; great grandchildren, Isaac Griffen, Xaiver Elery and Cora Elery. Preceding Margaret in death were her parents; siblings, Agnes Jennings-Davis, Coral Jennings,-Scholfield, Frances Jennings, Violet Jennings-Evans, Emogene Jennings-Westbrooks, Carolyn Jennings, Nathan Jennings, Jr., along with an infant son.

Friends will be received from 12 to 2 p.m. on Monday at the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home, Indiana. Funeral service will immediately follow in the Lefdahl Chapel with Rev. David Hanson, officiating.

Interment will follow in the Oakland Cemetery.
