Margaret R. Hendrickson, 90, of Pleasant Unity, died Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at Nature Park Commons, Hempfield Township. She was born May 25, 1927, in United, a daughter of the late Michael and Florence C. (Siemon) Pelar. Prior to retirement, she worked at the former Moyer and Schultz, Pleasant Unity.

Peg was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Trauger. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Hendrickson, in 2009; her brother, Raymond Pelar; and two sisters, Eleanor J. Pelar and Emma F. Mattioli. She is survived by two children, Beverly K. Kornides and husband, Gene, of Boonsboro, Md.

, and Gregory L. Hendrickson and wife, Kathy, of Latrobe; and six grandchildren, Sarah, Robert, Raymond, Julie, Joseph and Katie. Friends will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME INC. , 2072 Route 130, Pleasant Unity, where funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, with the Rev.

Daniel E. Baker officiating. Private inurnment will be in St. James Lutheran Cemetery, Unity Township. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Paul UCC, P.O. Box 56, Pleasant Unity, PA 15676.
