Obituary for Margaret Haverstick Margaret Louise Haverstick January 3, 1928 – May 30, 2018 Margaret Louise Haverstick (née Hoch) passed away on May 30, 2018 at the age of 90. Born in Treaster Valley, Pennsylvania, Marge made her home in New Jersey, living in Union City, Maywood, and then Mount Laurel from 1969 until her passing. Marge was the beloved wife of the late Ken Haverstick, to whom she was married for over 68 years.

She devoted her life to both family and home, as her great joy was being a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and consummate homemaker. Inseparable in all things throughout their lives, Marge and Ken also shared “the long goodbye” of Alzheimer’s, yet still cherished and loved each other with a singular clarity until the end. The enduring force of their love refusing to fade to this heartbreaking disease will be their lasting legacy.

Marge is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Susan O’Rourke and Timothy Dingman; her daughter and son-in-law, Patrice and Patrick Broomell and grandchildren Amanda, David and Kevin; her daughter and son-in-law Eileen and Michael Mende and grandson Matthew; and her daughter and son-in-law Janis and Mark Seraydarian and grandsons Thomas and Michael.
