Margie “Marti” Lyerla 60 of Hillsboro passed away Sept. 12, 2018 at her residence. She was born May 10, 1958 in Taylorville IL to Cletus and Marjorie (Wyatt) Harris.

She attended Taylorville High School, and was of the Catholic faith. She was married to Ron Lyerla on May 29, 1992. She was a cook at the Starlight in Kincaid IL.

She was a good mother and house wife and an amazing grandmother and she had a great sense of humor. She is survived by her husband, and children Kayla Marie Durbin of Lincoln, Jared (Amy Alumbaugh) Durbin of Nokomis, Kehlsy (friend Matt McDowell) Lyerla and Kohdy Lyerla both of Hillsboro, four grandchildren Michael, Tommy, Andy and Erica, and two great grandchildren Brooklyn and Zaedyn and one sister Helen (Robert) Graham of Taylorville and nieces and nephews Alissa Sherwood, Marlena Muncy, Rylie Whitlow Graham and Bobby Graham. She was preceded in death by her parents and one son Michael Durbin.

Private family burial will be held at a later date. Memorials can be directed MCCA.
