Margie Lorene Blue passed away on Saturday, June 9, 2018, at the age of 78. She was born on October 9, 1939, to David Randolph and Virgie Viola (Plumber) Morris in Duncan. Family visitation is scheduled for Monday, June 11, from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Whitt Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 12, at Duncan Municipal Cemetery with Robert Durr officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home. Margie attended Duncan public schools.

She married Veral Blue on January 9, 1960, in Duncan. He preceded her in death on December 15, 1995. Margie was employed as a caregiver.

She enjoyed going to yard sales and working puzzle books. She also enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved to go, either traveling with her daughters or camping with her husband.

She watched OU football and read books written by Karen Kingsbury and Danielle Steel. Margie is survived by her five daughters, Marilyn Kerbo of Kingston, Karen and husband Terry Shoemaker, Tammy and husband Marty Kaus, Mary and husband Ronald Peel, and Theresa and husband Raymond Franklin, all of Duncan; 13 grandchildren, Cory Kerbo, Jason McNutt, Jamie Luna, Thomas Shoemaker, Chris Shoemaker, Jimmy Joe Kerbo, Alicia Sampley, Twila Piercy, Debby Smith, Jamie Kaus, Earl Blue Peel, Tiffania Franklin, and Samantha Peel; 8 great grandchildren; and 1 sister, Mary Mengel of Decatur, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Veral Blue; parents, David and Virgie Morris; son-in-law, Roy Kerbo; brothers, Melvin Conley, Buster Morris, and David Morris; and sisters, Dorothy Tutune, Esta Lea Holt, and Florine Best.
