Margo’s Obituary Tilton, Illinois – Margo L. Zimmerman, 81, of Tilton, Illinois passed away at 10:40 am on Monday, March 25, 2019 at Paris Community Hospital, Paris, Illinois. Margo was born on August 28, 1937 in Pontiac, Michigan to Hite and Virginia Pundt Plake. She married John W. Zimmerman on August 29, 1953 in Danville, Illinois.

He survives. Also surviving are: one son: Joseph (Holly) Zimmerman of Mahomet, Illinois; four daughters: Kathy Prunkard of Danville, Illinois, Kerry (Robert) Jeske of Danville, Illinois, Jonny (John) Smock of Georgetown, Illinois, and Jennifer Howard of Georgetown Illinois; one sister: Amy Hicks of Danville, Illinois; fourteen grandchildren; twenty- three great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild on the way. She was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.

Margo was an LPN at the VA Hospital for 10 years. She enjoyed reading, working cross word and jigsaw puzzles. Per Margo’s wishes cremation rites were accorded and private inurnment will follow in the National Cemetery in Danville, Illinois.
