Born Tuesday, June 16, 1936, in Urireo, Guanajuato, Mexico, the daughter of Geronimo and Maura (Pena) Zepeda. Married Jose Ramos on January 10, 1970, in Urireo, Guanajuato, Mexico.

Member of St. Edward Catholic Church. Maria loved to knit, sew, crochet and cook for her family. Survivors include husband, Jose; daughters, Juanita Ramos and Carmen (Anastacio) Mendez; grandchildren, Arian, Iris, Abram, and Damian; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by siblings, Juan Zepeda, Daniel Zepeda, David Zepeda, Eufracia Zepeda, and Teresa Zepeda. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 27th, 2019 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Burial in Urireo, Guanajuato, Mexico.
