Maria L. Moniz, age 88, of Tennyson Rd. , Warwick, passed away Saturday, May 26, 2018. She was the wife of the late Antonio Moniz.

Born Aug. 20, 1929, in Sao Miguel, Azores, she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Frances Miudo. She was the mother of Grace Cabral, Joe Moniz, Carlos Moniz and the late Antonio Moniz; grandmother of 18; and great grandmother of 5.

She was also the sister of Stefan Miudo, Maria Francisca Rasamina and the late Deodato Miudo. Her funeral will begin Thursday, May 31, at 9am from the Rebello Funeral Home and Crematory, 901 Broadway, East Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Francis Xavier Church, No. Carpenter St., East Providence.

Burial will follow at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4pm until 8pm. To send flowers or a remembrance gift to the family of Maria Moniz, please visit our Tribute Store.
