She was born on September 5, 1921, the daughter of the late Ronald Louis Bishop and Helen Louise (Koch) Bishop. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Albion.

Marian enjoyed playing the piano, singing. and was an avid gardener. .

She is survived by her niece, Gail L. (Daniel) Coonrod of Albion, MI; Great niece, Samantha Coonrod and several nieces and nephews.
