Marian passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at the Heritage Center. She was born on August 13, 1936 in Evansville, Indiana, to Jesse and Marie (Bengert) Snyder. Marian graduated from Mater Dei High School in 1954.

Marian was a former director and teacher of preschool at Salem United Methodist Church for 26 years. She enjoyed caring and teaching for all the children in preschool as well as all of her grandchildren. Marian and her husband, Ted, were inducted in the Brute` Society with St. Boniface Church in 2004.

Marian was preceded in death by Jesse and Marie Bengert; sisters, Delores Pinkston, Bettye Haire, Jeannette Schmidt, and Margie Dick; brothers, James Snyder and David Snyder; brother-in-laws, Kenneth Pinkston, Marvin Haire, Gene Schmidt, Tom Dick and a great grandchild, Phoebe Kirves Carpio. Marian is survived by her husband of 64 years, Ted; three sons, Ted, Jr. (Kathy), Jeff (Linda), Mark (Debbie) and daughter Ann Claspell (Daniel). Eleven grandchildren, Angela (Greg) Brasen, Ben (France), Chris (Jessica), Amy (Tom) Wright, Jodi (Tony) Ayslworth, Megan Coleman, Jessica Carpio, Zach, Ty, Jill and Grant Claspell; two great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

There will be a mass of Christian Burial held at 10:00 AM on Friday, May 31, 2019 at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Rev. John Brosmer officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family from 2:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Thursday, May 30, 2019 at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street and from 9:30 AM until service time at St. Boniface Catholic Church.
