Irvin Jost, 90, of Evansville, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2019 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital. He was born August 17, 1928 to the late Emil and Regina (Seibert) Jost. Irvin served the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.

He retired from Adler Distributing Company after 51 years. He was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church and Senior Citizens Club at the church. Irvin is survived by his wife of 63 years, Rosie Jost; sons, Kenneth (Vera) Jost, David Jost, William Jost, Dennis Jost; daughter, Sandra (Michael) Buck; brother, Chester Jost; 13 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.

A visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Thursday, May 30, 2019 at Ziemer North Funeral Home, 6300 N. First Avenue, Evansville, IN 47710. A funeral service will follow beginning at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Father Sudhakar Bhastati officiating. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery where military honors will be conducted by the Retired Veterans Memorial Club.
