Neil W. Reddington, 84, of Evansville, passed away Thursday, May 23, 2019 at the Pine Haven Health and Rehabilitation Center. Neil was born August 21, 1934 in Louisville, KY to the late James and Mary (Stein) Reddington. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, serving from June of 1954 to June of 1956.

Neil worked for CSX Railroad for 37 years, retiring as the claims department manager. He was an avid golfer and former member of Helfrich Hills Men’s Club, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus and Hilltop Grove. Neil also was involved coaching youth sports, including the Westside Little League and Sacred Heart basketball teams.

Surviving Neil are four daughters, Michelle Reddington and Nadine (Mark) Risley, both of Evansville; Valeri (Jeff) Topel of St. Louis, MO and Susan (Gary) Anslinger of Evansville; four sons, Britt (Robin) Reddington, Chris (Kim) Reddington, Kent (Laura) Reddington and Todd (Kate) Reddington, all of Evansville; his former wife and mother of his children, June C. Baker; grandchildren, Sam and Lauren Risley, Nina McKinley, Chloe and Noah Topel, Lindsey and Hannah Wagner, Jason, Sean and Kyle Reddington, Mary Woehler, Neil Reddington, Cody Reyher, Andy Reddington, Katie Niemeier and Sara Reddington and sixteen great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Neil was preceded in death by a brother, James Reddington. There will be no formal services held.
