Thomas S. Goodloe, Sr., age 83, of Evansville, IN, passed away at 10:26 p.m. on Tuesday, May 21, 2019, at Pine Haven Health and Rehab. Thomas was born March 20, 1936, in Nashville, TN, to James and Mary (Reams) Goodloe. He graduated from Smyrna High School in Tennessee and was a Veteran in the United States Air Force.

Thomas was a member of Eastminster Presbyterian Church. He was a long-time leader of Boy Scouts Troop 359, and he was both a Scout Master and Cub Master. Thomas was a member of the Fourth Day Community of Tres Dias.

Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Susan (Anderson) Goodloe; sons, Thomas S. Goodloe, Jr., Philip A. Goodloe (Lori), David T. Goodloe, Daniel R. Goodloe, and Timothy R. Goodloe (Melissa); sisters, Evelyn Thompson and Faith Goodloe; 5 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild. Thomas is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Mary Kate Moore and Jessie Wilson; and brothers, Reams Goodloe, Jim Goodloe, and Ross Goodloe. A Service of Witness to the Resurrection will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at Eastminster Presbyterian Church at 5501 Washington Avenue with Reverend Shane O’Neil officiating.

Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at BOONE FUNERAL HOME EAST CHAPEL – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue and from 9:00 a.m. until service time at Eastminster Presbyterian Church. Memorial Contributions may be made to: Eastminster Presbyterian Church at 5501 Washington Avenue, Evansville, IN 47715.
