Danny Warren Rowe, 73, passed away Thursday at Deaconess Hospital. He had worked for Kent Plastics and Whirlpool Corporation. Danny was a graduate of Cedar Hall and Central High School downtown and later was a graduate of Lockyear Business College.

Danny especially enjoyed his dogs, Hobo and Buddy. He also enjoyed NASCAR, Sprint Car racing and UK basketball and the Chicago Bears. Danny was a veteran of the Army, serving from 1968 until 1972.

Surviving Danny is his son: Jimmy Dan (Megan) Rowe and his step-son: Robert Lee (Cindy) Powell, Jr. Also surviving are grandchildren: Devin, Ethan, Bryce and Owen Rowe. Samantha Schembre, Arielle O’Grady, Dharma Powell, Seth Walker and Abbey DeCamps. And a Great Granddaughter, Elouise Schembre.

Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at Pierre Funeral Home, Rev. Terry Gamblin officiating. Burial will be in Locust Hill Cemetery with Military Honors.

Friends may visit from 2 until 7 PM on Tuesday at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street. Contributions may be made to the Vanderburgh County Humane Society, To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Danny Warren Rowe please visit our Sympathy Store.
