Latham, NY MARIE G. SWARTZ (ZARVIS) In loving memory of Marie Zarvis, 65, of Latham; who was called home suddenly on Friday, January 25, 2019. She gained her wings while being surrounded by her loving family. Marie wasborn on October 20, 1953 to Annita Yourgulez, and Thomas Zarvis in Pittsfield, Massachusetts.

However, she spent a majority of her life in Tucson, Arizona and then Latham, New York. Marie will be remembered for being so caring, and for having such a kind heart. She was therefor anyone who needed her and always offered great advice.

Even if you just needed someoneto listen, she was there. Marie had a passion for caring for others, and also for cooking. She will forever be known for her homemade salsa.

Marie was very family oriented, and always put herfamily first. Marie was always a very giving person, so she has donated her eyes in hopes to give someone else the gift of sight. Marie was welcomed to Heaven with open arms from her parents Annita Yourgulez, and Thomas Zarvis, and also her two sons Nicky T. and Thomas Swartz.

She is survived by her children Jason Sale, Alisha Sale, Crystal Sale(Greg Amyot), and Andrew Sale; Grandchildren whom she loved so dearly; Marisha Sale, Jason Sale, Kianna Amyot, Ramona Sale, Gunnar Felton, Maxx Felton, Cash Sale, Carter Sale, Garrett Swartz and Nevaeh Sale. Relatives and friends may call at The Marra Funeral Home, 246 Remsen St. Cohoes, NY 12047, Thursday, January 31st, from 5-7pm and a service will also take place at 7pm.
