Marilyn Ousley Sylacauga, AL – Funeral service for Marilyn Ousley, 85, will be Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Radney-Smith Chapel with Rev. Mac McCaleb officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Sylacauga, AL.

Mrs. Ousley passed Saturday, May 26, 2018 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Preston A. Ousley; parents, Raymond and Nell Crowe; and her 2 brothers. She first and foremost loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren.

She was also known for her love of gardening. She would spend hours out in her garden working with her flowers. Mrs. Ousley was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister.

She will be truly missed by all who knew her. Mrs. Ousley is survived by her son, Travis Ousley wife Robyn of Sylacauga; two grandchildren, Nicolas Ousley wife Sydney of Mobile and Reese Ousley of Sylacauga; two sisters, Bobbie Kinser of Sylacauga and Faye Franklin of Jemison; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Monday, May 28, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Amedisys Hospice for their wonderful care and kindness. They would also like to thank her care giver, Willie Jennings, for all of her support, love, and care she showed for Mrs. Ousley and the family. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Marble City Baptist Church of Sylacauga.
