Obituary for Marilyn Phillips (Bradley) Marilyn Phillips (Bradley), age 50, of Erwin, passed peacefully on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at her home, after a lengthy fight. Marilyn is a daughter of the late Billy J. Bradley, Sr. and Myra (McInturff) Bradley. She was a loving mother, grandmother and wife who was dedicated to her home, family and God.

She was a member of THESA and had a strong work ethic leading her to be awarded “Employee of the Year” multiple times during her employment at Unicoi County Memorial Hospital and “Corrections Officer of the Year” at Unicoi County Sheriff’s Department. Marilyn enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved going to the beach and her little dog “Tucker”.

In addition to her parents, Marilyn is preceded in death by her brother, Steve Bradley, and her father-in-law, Frank Phillips. Marilyn Phillips (Bradley) has left behind to cherish her memory: Husband: Ricky Phillips, of Erwin; Daughter: Brooke Ollis and husband, Josh, of Unicoi; Son: Ricky Joe Phillips, of Erwin; Grandchildren: Maci, Emma and Levi Ollis, all of Unicoi; Brothers: Roger Bradley and his late wife Rita, of Johnson City, Bill Bradley, Jr. and wife, Rhonda, of Erwin, Matt Bradley and wife, Tina, of Unicoi, Bryan Bradley and wife, Debbie, of Erwin, Phillip Bradley and wife, Shannon, of Erwin; Sisters: Linda Bunten and her late husband, Dale, of Elizabethton, Debra McIntosh and husband, Andy, of Telford, Elaine Frazier and husband, Ronnie, of Erwin, Carolyn Clouse and husband, Tommy, of Flag Pond; Sister-in-law: Angel Duncan and husband Keith, of Erwin; Mother-in-law: Nancy Edney and husband, Phillip, of Erwin Several nieces and nephews. The family respectfully requests the honor of your presence as we offer tribute and remember the life of Marilyn Phillips (Bradley) in a funeral service to be held at 8:00 PM on Thursday, April 26, 2018 in the chapel at Valley Funeral Home.

Reverend Kevin Laws will officiate. A visitation period to share memories and offer support to the family will begin at 5:00 PM and will continue until the hour of service. Honorary pallbearers will be David Lloyd, Buzzy Ingram, Red Scott, Randall Miller, Todd Rogers, Dan Riddle, David Walker and David Adkins.
