Obituary for Mark Bruce Mark Anthony Bruce, 65, of White Stone, Virginia passed away on Monday, September 3, 2018. He was born on June 8, 1953. A lifelong resident of White Stone, Mark retired in 2017 from the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Department.

He was a life member of the White Stone Volunteer Fire Department. He is survived by his father, Matthew Bruce of White Stone; his brother and sister-in-law, William and Pat Bruce of White Stone; a nephew, Christopher Bruce of Farmville and a niece, Cathryn Bruce of Richmond. A memorial service will be held 2:00 p. m. Sunday, September 9, 2018 at Currie Funeral Home, Kilmarnock followed by a reception at the White Stone Firehouse.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mark’s memory to the White Stone Volunteer Fire Department, P. O. Box 272, White Stone, VA 22572.
