Mark Dwayne Mackey 57 of Boise passed away unexpectedly at his home early Thursday morning April 19, 2018. Mark is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years, Gina, daughter Amanda, son Brad, step-daughter Bry (Parker), his dad Don, and brothers Dean and Dan Mackey. Mark was born in Jerome, Idaho on July 30, 1960 to Loretta and Don Mackey.

Mark served in the Idaho Army National Guard from 1985 to 1999. He loved woodworking, cooking, canning, shooting and hunting. He loved his dogs Solo and Grendle, and his cats Mayham and Tuffy.

Mark will be deeply missed by his friends, family and all who knew him. Services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday May 3, 2018 at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery in Boise. Flowers, donations and condolences may be offered via the brother of the deceased, c/o Dan Mackey 5580 S. Firethorn Place Boise, Idaho 83716.

Services are under the direction of the Potter Funeral Chapel Emmett.
