Marsola’s Obituary Mrs. Marsola L. Baker, 95, widow of Everett Baker, died Friday, February 22, 2019 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville. Born December 20, 1923 in Mercer County she was the daughter of the late Za and Nellie Bottom Lester. She owned Ky Growers/Baker Insurance Agency and was a member of the Harrodsburg Baptist Church.

She enjoyed attending U.K. ball games. Survivors include: one son: Randy L. Baker of Harrodsburg; one brother: Z.T. (Vivian) Lester of Frankfort; two sisters: Loretta Baker and Hettie Logue, both of Harrodsburg and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother: R.C. Lester and one sister: Jewell Henninger.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home with Todd Lester, Dr. Terry Lester and Larry Camic officiating. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery with Steve Hayden, Tommy Logue, Randy Bugg, Tim Lester, Mike Baker, Charles Baker, Ronnie Huffman and Greg Ross serving as pallbearers and Chris Hart, Roy Bugg, Don Long, Paul Blacketer, Larry Camic, Rick Morgan and David A. Taylor serving as honorary pallbearers. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday and after 7:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home.
