Lora’s Obituary Lora Jean Ellis age 88, widow of William Glenn Ellis, of Harrodsburg died Friday March 29, 2019. Born December 31, 1930 in Monticello, KY she was the daughter of the late Fred Crouch and the late Velma Crouch. She was a member of Bruner’s Chapel Baptist Church and a retired Modine employee.

She was a fan of U. K. Basketball and enjoyed word search puzzles. Survivors include one son: Gary Ellis and his wife, Vickie Thompson Ellis of Salvisa and two grandchildren: Christopher Glenn Ellis and Jeremy Jackson Ellis. She was preceded in death by a daughter Vickie Lynn Ellis and a brother Charles Crouch.

Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home with John Kesel officiating. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery with Ed Lay, Carroll Dean, Lee Readnour, Larry Camic, Dennis Coslow and Darrell Hahn serving as pallbeares and her Bruners Chapel Sunday School Class and the Ladies from Hospice serving as honorary pallbearers. Visitation will be 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. Tuesday and after 7:00 A.M. Wednesday at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home.
