Martha’s Obituary Martha C. Blankman, 94, of Rushville, passed away Feb. 19, 2019 in Rushville. She was born Oct.

13, 1924 in Greensburg, a daughter of the late John H. and Clara A. (Raver) Schulte. She married Alfred H. Blankman Aug. 28, 1946 and he preceded her in death Feb.

9, 2002. She was a faithful member of St. Mary Catholic Church, the Sodality and funeral dinner committee. She was a homemaker and farm wife.

She and Alfred gave birth and raised four children, three daughters, Susan (Robert) Meer of Milroy; Carolyn (Steven) Gordon of Manilla and Linda (Marvin) Leising of Milroy; one son, John (Misty) Blankman of Rushville. 14 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews will also miss her. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one brother Clarence Schulte.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM Saturday Feb. 23, 2019 at St. Mary Catholic Church with the Reverend James Brockmeier officiating. Burial will follow at Rushville’s Calvary Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday, Feb. 22nd from 4 to 8 PM at Todd Funeral Centre & Crematory in Rushville where all are invited for the rosary at 3:45 PM.
