Obituary of Martha Alba Martha Saucedo Cabrera Vda de Alba September 01, 1943 – September 14, 2018 A recitation of the Holy Rosary and a Mass will be held in Santa Cruz on Wednesday and Thursday, for Martha Alba who passed away at Dominican Hospital with her loving family at her bedside. Born in Zacatecas, Mexico, she was 75 years old. Martha moved from her home in Zacatecas, Mexico to Santa Cruz, CA.

She was a long time parishioner of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Santa Cruz. She was a caring mother, beloved grandmother, great grandmother and devoted friend. She is survived by her 9 children and their spouses Guadalupe and Jose Canales, Mayela and Pedro Perez, Jaime and Teresa Alba, Gloria and Ruben Martinez, Martin and Ma.

Elena Alba, Alicia and Jose Luis Figueroa, Victor M. Alba, Maria M. and Jaime Canales, Martha Alba and Aurelio De La Torre, and her twenty grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Gustavo A. Alba. The funeral mass will be held on Thursday September 20, 2018 at Our lady Star of the sea Church (515 Frederick Street) beginning at 12:00 noon.
