Obituary for Mary A Bagley Cohoes, NY Mary A. Bagley, 81, died October 15, 2018. Born in Menands she was daughter of the late Frederick and Emily Havilard Weir. She had been employed at several different State Agency’s including the New York State Senate.

She also served as Commissioner of Civil Service for the City of Cohoes and worked at the Cohoes School District. Mary was very active in her community and worked as a poll inspector, a member of the neighborhood watch and member of The Order of the Eastern Star. Mary moved to Cohoes after marrying her loving husband of 61 years Irving R. Bagley who survives.

She was mother of Debra ( Mark) Borden, Donna (Dave) Ferris, Irving R. Bagley Jr., Jeffrey ( William J. Smith IV ) Bagley and Alice Bagley. She was sister of the late Forest Reed and Frieda Berghello. Grandmother of Mark Borden Jr., Julie Borden, James Ferris, David Ferris and Alix Pimentel.

Great grandmother of Logan, Owen, Addison and Chloe. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday at 7pm from the Marra Funeral Home.
