Obituary for Mary Angela June Preske Mary Angela “June” Preske, 88, of Evansville, passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at Deaconess Hospital Midtown Campus. June was born March 25, 1930 in Evansville to the late Frank J. and Sabina (Seibert) Martin. She was a homemaker; a longtime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Vanderburgh County, St. Joseph Grade School PTO, the St. Joe Senior Citizen’s Group and American Legion Funkhouser Post #8 Ladies Auxiliary.

Surviving June are her daughter, Deborah Preske of Evansville; two sons, Stephen Preske of Evansville and Tim (DeLaine) Preske of Haubstadt; one sister, Joan (Richard) Preske of Evansville; two grandchildren, Leah (Duane) Frohbieter and Michael Preske and two great grandchildren, Lucas and Mackenzie Frohbieter. In addition to her parents, June was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Henry “Hank” Preske in 2016; by sisters, Jeannette Lord, Glory Edmond, Judy Jones and two brothers, Marcella and Jerry Martin. There will be a Mass of Christian burial held at 9:30 AM on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Vanderburgh County, Rev.

Eugene Schroeder officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Joseph Church cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 8:30 AM until service time on Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 6202 W. St. Joseph Road, Evansville, IN 47720.
