Obituary for Mary Ann “Cookie” Misko Mary Ann ‘Cookie’ (Sketel) Misko, age 93 of Farmington Hills, MI, previously of Redford, MI passed away peacefully on December 20, 2018 with her loving family by her side. She was born on April 19, 1925 in Bellaire, OH to Martin and Mary (Errath) Sketel. Mary Ann married Chuck Misko on August 9, 1946 in Detroit, MI.
They were married for 61 years before he preceded her in death. Her greatest joy was taking care of her husband and family. Mary Ann had a passion for cooking and loved to travel.
She particularly enjoyed traveling to visit her family and friends on the West Coast. Mary Ann is survived by her children: Diane, Chuck Jr., Nancy, Tim (Kathy), Patti (Pat); grandchildren: Amy (Dan), Andy (Karla), Jeff, Josh, Dayna (Ethan), Michael, Caty (Eddie), Maria; great-grandchildren; Micaela, Emma, Colin, and Caleb. Her final wishes were for a private cremation and internment at Glen Eden Cemetery, Livonia, MI next to her beloved husband Chuck.
