Mary Anne Battaglia, a resident of Beacon, passed away on March 9, 2019 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center, Poughkeepsie. She was 77 years old. Mary Anne was born in Yonkers on June 6, 1941 the daughter of the late Charles and Dorothy Perry Buchanan.

Mary Anne married Richard Battaglia who predeceased her in 2011. Mary Anne is survived by her children, Michael Maloney and wife, Shirley, Leann Merante and husband, Rio, Terrance Maloney, Kimberly Powlis and husband, Fred, Jonathan Maloney and wife, Joy and Marguerite Rodriguez and husband, Mike Wojtusiak; her many grandchildren and great grandchildren who she loved so dearly; her sister, Susan Buchanan and brother, Gregory Buchanan; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Mary Anne was predeceased by her son, Daniel Maloney in 2008 and her five brothers and sisters.
