JERSEY SHORE – Mary E. (Wert) Glenn, 75, passed away Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at the UPMC Susquehanna, Williamsport. She was born on August 23, 1943 in Lock Haven and was the daughter of the late Clarence I. and Jennie I. (Miller) Wert. Mary graduated from Lock Haven High School in 1961 and then graduated from Bellefonte School of Nursing in 1963.

She had worked and retired from Manor Care Nursing Home, Jersey Shore. She was a former member of the Church of Christ in Lock Haven and a member of the Mountain View Alliance Church, Jersey Shore where she was involved in the knitting club. Mary is survived by two sons; Christopher H. Glenn (Vanessa) of Linden and Eric C. Glenn (Kelly) of Jersey Shore, one daughter; Dawn M. Reynolds (Edward) of Barberton, OH, seven grandchildren; Joshua Glenn, Rebecca Glenn, Jessica Bower, Daniel Glenn, Kathryn Leise, Kyle Bower and Matthew Leise, two great-grandchildren; Kyla Chrisenberry and Olivia Glenn, one brother; Richard E. Wert (Phyllis) of Lock Haven, one sister; Sara Jane Miller (Lowell) of Mill Hall and numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be a public viewing 5 – 7 p.m. Friday, September 14, 2018 at the Mountain View Alliance Church, 1515 Cemetery St., Jersey Shore where the funeral will be held at 7:00 p.m. with the Reverend Robert Grimes officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mountain View Alliance Church.

Arrangements are being handled by the Rearick-Carpenter Funeral Home, 1002 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore.
