Joshua C. “J.W. Special” Waltz, 35, of Limestone Township, passed away Sunday, October 28, 2018. Born October 18, 1983 in Jersey Shore, he was a son to Dennis Waltz (Cheryl Walker) and the former Penny Overdorf (Jim Womer). He was preceded in death by his Uncle Jim, and his two dogs, Chelsey and Maddie.

Josh was a 2003 graduate of Jersey Shore High School and was employed by Overhead Door. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. Josh was a loving uncle to his nieces and nephews.

Surviving in addition to his parents are his wife, the former Jessica L. Ulsamer, they were united in marriage May 26, 2017; brother, Tyler (Brianna) Waltz of Lock Haven; a sister, Stacey (Zach) Maggs of Avis; several niece and nephews; paternal grandparents, Lois and Clair Waltz of Linden; and his maternal grandmother, Donna Overdorf of Rauchtown. A funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Friday, November 2, 2018 at Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, 125 N. Main St., Jersey Shore. A time of visitation will be 10 a.m. Friday until the time of service at Welker Funeral Home.
