James L. Peddigree 69 of Avis, died Thursday Oct. 11, 2018 at his home. Born Sept.

20, 1949 in Phillipsburg, Pa. he was the son of Daniel F. Peddigree and the former Marie Folmar. James was a 1969 graduate of the Lock Haven High School.

He retired after 40 years of service from Wirerope of Williamsport. James enjoyed hunting, camping and fishing, but his greatest love was spending time with his family, especially his grandsons. James is survived by his wife the former Deborah A. Beardslee, they were united in marrige July 12, 1969.

Also surviving are 2 daughters Angela L. (Christopher) Stoner, of Beech Creek and Jennifer D. (Pat) Gallagher, of Linden; 7 grandsons, Joseph and Dean Lundy, Kevin and Ryan Gallagher, and Colby, Corbin and Caden Stoner; 3 brothers, Daniel (Judy) Peddigree, of Harrisburg, Larry (Kim) Peddigree, of Collegeville and Jim (Denise) Peddigree, of Bellefonte; 3 sisters, Margaret Conrad, of Lock Haven, Bonnita Riggle, of Lock Haven and Rebecca (Ray) Rahn, of Boalsburg. Funeral Services will be Tuesday Oct. 16, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home 125 N. Main Street, Jersey Shore.

Visitations will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. until the time of service and also 5-7 p.m. Monday evening, Oct. 15 at the Welker Funeral Home. Father Bert Kozen will officiate.

Memorial contributions in Jamesá name may be made to either the Millbrook Playhouse, Inc., 258 Country Club Ln, Mill Hall, Pa. 17751 or the Clinton County SPCA, 33 Mill Hill Rd. , Lock Haven, PA 17745.
