Mary Flowers Priester, 71, of Florence, passed away on Friday, February 22, 2019. Mrs. Priester was born in Statenville, GA a daughter of the late Lee Andrew and Mattie Sue Peterson Flowers. She worked for Watts Insurance for many years and later at ADP.

She loved traveling, the beach in particular, and most of all, her grandchildren. Surviving are her husband, Lenair “L.P.” Priester; son, Jason Lenair (Alana) Priester; daughter, Ashley Priester (James) Ervin; grandchildren, Mackenzie Priester, Mattie Priester, Ernest Ervin and Elliott Ervin; brothers, Ronnie (Mary) Flowers and Donnie Flowers, and sisters, Linda Flowers, Patsy Flowers, and Deborah Flowers. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, www.

cancer.org. The family will receive friends from 5 – 6 pm Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home with a service to follow in the funeral home chapel at 6:00 pm. Please send messages to the family at the obit section of www.
