Bennettsville, SC Mrs. Mary Gladys Rowlen, 84, passed away peacefully Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Dundee Manor. Born September 11, 1934 in Blenheim, SC to the late Jim and Easter Hyatt Meggs. She worked as a machine operator with Oak River Mill Industries for many years.

Mrs. Mary loved to cook, the grandchildren had fond memories of her making them homemade biscuits. Mrs. Rowlen leaves behind to cherish her memories, grandchildren; Crystal Traywick, Mindy Lane, Bubba Rowlen, Jr., Renee Rowlen, and a sister-in-law; Mary Meggs. She is preceded in death by her parents listed above, husband; Edward Rowlen, son; Daniel Lane, Sr., grandson; Daniel Lane, Jr. and her brothers and sisters.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at Sunset Memorial Park with a visitation following after the service. On-line condolences may be made at www. bfhbennettsville.com.
