Obituary for Mary Jane Griggs Mary Jane Griggs of Annapolis, MO passed away on October 21, 2018 at the age of 89 years, 3 months, and 29 days. She was born on June 22, 1929 in Chloride, MO, a daughter of the late Vincent and Laura Belle Heaston Sutton. On March 6, 1946 Mary was united in marriage to Isaac Paul Griggs who preceded her in death on Sept.

30, 1993. To this union six children were born; John Griggs and wife Joyce of Annapolis, Charile Griggs and wife Jenny of Patterson, Nancy Inman and husband Kelly of Ironton, Diann Hartwick and husband Curtis of Ironton, Elmo Griggs and wife Ruth of Annapolis, and Kay Marler of Annapolis. Also surviving are a brother, Cecil Sutton of Ironton, one sister, Irene Keith of Marble Hill, twelve grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 12 great greatgrand children.

Preceding her in death were her parents, four brothers; Walter, Lewis, Robert, and George, two sisters Elizabeth Sutton and Florence Savage, and one granddaughter. Funeral Services for Mary will be held on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at 11:00 am from Cole Family Funeral Home. Visitation will begin on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Rev. Mike Harrison and Charles Doodle Sutton will be officiating the funeral services. Interment will be held in Huff cemetery.
