Mary K. Bogan April 23, 1936-September 5, 2018 Mishawaka-Mary K. Bogan, 82, passed away at home on Friday, October 5, 2018. Mary K. was born in Mishawaka on April 23, 1936 to the late Fred J. and Rose B. Hums. Also preceding her in death were a son, Patrick Bogan and brothers, James, William and Thomas Hums.

Surviving are a daughter, Deborah Bogan; sons, Thomas Bogan and James Bogan and two grandchildren. Mary K. was a graduate of Mishawaka High School in 1954 and a graduate of Memorial Hospital Radiology School. After graduating as a radiology tech she was employed at Memorial Hospital.

After her marriage, she spent several years in Istanbul, Turkey with her husband, where their son, Patrick was born. Mary K’s hobbies were, tennis, antiques and fishing. She especially enjoyed fishing at her Uncles cabin and enjoyed fishing so much she eventually purchased her own cabin on the same lake.

Mary K. also loved to travel-enjoying cruises and traveling to the Florida Keys every winter as a snowbird, Friends may pay their respects on Thursday, October 11 from 4 to 7 p.m. in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, October 12 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mishawaka. Burial will be at a later date.
