Obituary for Mary Margaret Wright Mary Margaret Wright, of Haines City, passed away on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at the age of 92. Mary was born on September 9, 1925 to Henry and Anna Watts in Elsmere, KY. She moved to Haines City in 1954 from Erlanger, KY, she worked as a teacher for over 50 years and was a member of The First Baptist Church in Haines City, FL.

She received a Bachelor degree from Easter Kentucky University and started her career in elementary education, teaching out in Central Elementary, then in Alta Vista Elementary for over 20 years and 8 years in Eastside Elementary School. She was a mother, a grandmother and someone who had a passion for teaching others. She enjoyed volunteering for the Boys Scout and teaching summer Bible school.

Mary loved her family, faith, and she was an avid reader. She was a very loving woman who lived her life for her children, especially for her oldest son, Snyder. She will be truly missed by her children and by those who loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Clarence Macon Wright. Mary is survived by her children, Macon (Cynthia) Wright and Snyder Wright both of Haines City, FL; and 4 grandchildren, Nick, Alex, Rachael and Jonathan. In lieu of flowers, the family would like contributions to the Polk Education Foundation.
