She is preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas G. Garrett. She is survived by her four children, Susan (Larry) McGowan, Morristown, TN; Kathie (Duane) Pieper, Gretna, NE; David (Jessica) Garrett, Granite Bay, CA; Mary Beth (Bob) Rice, Cornelia, GA.

Six grandchildren, Scott (Diane) Garrett, Jenny McGowan; Ian Bond, Matt (Whitney) McGowan, Brett & Katie Garrett. Four step grandchildren, Jody & Shannon (Wayne) Rice, Eddie & Jacob Leskauskas. Four great grandchildren, Nicholas, Zoe & Amanda Garrett and Patrick McGowan.
