Obituary for Mrs. Mary “Mimi” Trotta Mary “Mimi” Trotta (nee Ogden) died Wednesday April 18, 2018 in the Friends Home, Woodstown. Mrs. Trotta was born Kansas City, Missouri and raised in Malvern, PA. She retired as Department Chairwoman after thirty years of dedicated teaching at Woodbury High School.

After her retirement, she continued teaching English Literature at the University of Pennsylvania for an additional ten years. Mrs. Trotta was a member of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, Clarksboro. She was an avid reader who kept a list of the thousands of books she had read over her lifetime with William Shakespeare being her favorite author.

She is survived by her husband of 36 years, James Trotta of Clarksboro; her daughter, Sarah Trotta and her husband Daniel McClory of Philadelphia and her sister, Leslie Ogden and her husband, Eric, of Hampton, New Hampshire. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated promptly at 11 AM Saturday, April 28, 2018 in St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 304 Kings Hwy. , Clarksboro.

There will be no calling hours prior to Mass time. Burial will be private. Arrangements by McBride – Foley Funeral Home, Paulsboro.
