Maryann Canty, 62 of Jackson, New Jersey passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2019, at home. Born Friday, July 13, 1956, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Rosemary Korzonowski. Maryann was born on an army base in Virgina where her father was serving in the military.

At a young age her family moved to Jersey City and that is where she was raised. She attended William L. Dickinson High School. Maryann then moved to Old Bridge where she was a crossing guard.

Maryann also spent time working as a security officer at the Meadowlands. Later Maryann moved to Ocean County. Maryann is survived by her loving son William Canty and his wife Jennifer, her loving daughter Valerie Bender and her husband Kenneth, her cherished grandchildren Kayleigh and Brodie Bender, her caring brother Alan Korzonowski and his wife Lori, her brother Gary Korzonowski, her nephew Alan John Jr. and her nieces Abbey Rose and Samantha.

Maryann was predeceased by her cherished granddaughter Willow Grace Canty. Graveside services will take place at 11:00AM on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, New Jersey. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.
