Mary Burr Gardner, 66, of Geneva, was with her family when she passed away Sunday morning, April 15, 2018, at home. She was a cancer warrior who never gave up hope. She was born November 7, 1951 to Tony and Ella (nee Casto) Burr.

Mary had many life challenges and was strong hearted. She enjoyed politics and watching criminal justice television. She always liked a good meal out and would talk your ear off about life’s twists and turns.

She is survived by her children, Jesse Ludwick and Tammy (John) Mahoney; grandchildren, Kaylee, Logan, Kaitlyn; sisters, Sandy (Larry) Hanson, Debbie (Richard) Clark; brothers, Ronnie Burr and Jerry Burr; Mary’s loving cat and faithful friend, Java. Mary is preceded in death by her daughter, Kathy Brunson; parents; brother, Jim Casto; sister, Patty Light. Friends may call from 11am to 12pm, Wednesday, April 18, 2018, at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River St., Madison, Ohio, 44057.

A funeral service will immediately follow at 12pm at the funeral home. Final resting place will be Perry Cemetery. Donations may be made in Mary’s name to Bella Care Hospice, 1933 OH-45, Austinburg, OH 44010, for their wonderful care.
