Obituary for Maurice John Goldy Maurice John “Moe” Goldy, 87, of Marion, AR. died Sunday, October 14, 2018 at Willowbend Nursing Center in Marion, AR. He was born February 27, 1931 in Durand, IL, the son of Clarence and Laura (Gilmore) Goldy.

Maurice was a graduate of Durand High School, Durand, IL. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Maurice married Yvonia “Bonnie” R. Hundley on August 7, 1982 in Wichita Falls, TX.

She predeceased him on October 3, 2016. Maurice was retired from Beloit Memorial Hospital. Survivors include his children, Charles (Pamela) Goldy, Philip Goldy both of Marion, AR, Benjamin (Melissa) Goldy of Savannah, GA, and Alicia (Michael) Howes of Rockton, IL; sister Margaret (Donald) Meissen of Durand, IL; twelve grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents; stepfather Guy Eaton; brothers, David and Kenneth Goldy; sisters, Eva Barcellona, Betty Donahue, and Alyce Roby. Funeral Services for Maurice will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 20, 2018 in the Daley Murphy Wisch Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI, with Reverend David Carlson officiating. Burial will be in Floral Lawn Cemetery, South Beloit, IL.

Visitation of remembrance will be from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service Saturday in the funeral home.
