INDIANAPOLIS – Maxine M. (Curtis) Brown, age 93, of Greenfield, passed away Friday, February 8, 2019. She was born in Greenfield on May 19, 1925 to Eddy and Goldie Curtis. She graduated from Greenfield High School in 1943.

She was married to Paul H. Brown. In her free time, she enjoyed reading, card games, word searches, Lake Tippecanoe, and camping. Most of all she loved bowling and could often be found at the bowling alley.

She was one of the last members inducted into the Greenfield Bowling Hall of Fame. She is survived by her daughter, Paula (George) Redfearn; son, Jay (Deb) Brown; and grandchildren Robbie, Gina, Tyler and Avery (Jon). She was preceded in death by her parents, Eddy and Goldie Curtis; husband, Paul H. Brown; brothers, Ralph Curtis, Marion Curtis; and infant brother, Max Curtis.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 15, 2019, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will immediately follow at 12:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy.
