Melissa Kim Giles passed away due to heart Complications on June 21,2018 in her home surrounded by her loving family. Melissa was born November 13, 1987 to Doug and Louise Giles. She is Proceeded in death by her sister Angela, grandma Jean and grandpa Giles.

She is survived by her two daughters Amy Hurst and Alexis Giles, parents Doug (Stacy), Louise (Greg), brother Drew (Mikele), brother Brennen, sisters Amber and Aisha, grandma Lena, 6 nieces and many uncles, aunts and cousins. Melissa was the most adorable, caring, fun loving child any parent could hope to have. She loved riding bikes, fishing, camping, drawing with her girls, spending time hunting and fishing with her dad, listening to music with her brother Drew and stepdad Greg in an old black Camero, watching scary movies with her brother Brennen.

She enjoyed making her grandpa’s strawberry – rhubarb pie with her dad, stepmother Stacy and sisters Amber and Aisha. She loved going to the cabin with grandpa and grandma Giles and making her favorite potatoes for breakfast and spending time at grandma Jean’s watching old movies and making rice. She loved playing fast pitch softball, dance, gymnastics and all different kinds of music and art.

Melissa touched everyone in some way from her bright hazel eyes to the sparkling crooked little smile she gave to see you smile, her wise cracked jokes and tender heart. She loved everyone and would never say a bad word about anyone. She had many battles she had to fight, determined, strong and brave she did.

Melissa had the sweetest soul and most lovable personality of anyone you could ever meet. She will truly be missed and loved for all of eternity. There will never be enough time or words to share all the wonderful memories we all have.

Though she may not be here physically she will always be around by that memory everyone will keep in their hearts. We know she will always be watching over us from a better place. Till we meet again we love you Baby Girl!

We want to thank all the wonderful Doctors and Nurses who cared for Melissa through the years but especially the ones who cared for her with a genuine heart during her toughest time. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 26, at 11 AM at the Gathering Place, Gardner Village, 1100 W 7800 So. , W. Jordan.

Visitation will be held 1 hour prior. Burial will follow in the Salt Lake Cemetery.
