Mendy Lee Jones of Warren passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 13, 2019. She was 42. Mendy was born in Corpus Christi, TX on October 24, 1976, the daughter of Jose Jones and Esther Vela.

Ms. Jones was a loving homemaker. She cherished her family especially her grandchildren. Mendy was an extraordinary cook and loved helping others.

She is survived by her father, Jose Jones of Houston, TX; a daughter, Esther Estela Garcia of Warren; 3 brothers, Christopher Jones Garcia of Warren, Matthew Vidal Garcia of Alice, TX, and Isaiah Lee Garcia of Warren; 4 sisters, Ruby Ann Sanchez of Warren, Angie Jones of Alice TX, Ruth Ramos of Corpus Christi, TX and April Ramos of Warren; 2 brothers, Joey Jones of Alice, TX and David Sanchez; 10 grandchildren. In addition to her mother, Mendy was preceded in death by a brother Pat Sanchez. Friends and family may view the obituary and send condolences by visiting www.
