Monaca, PA- Michael David Zorich, 38, formerly of East Palestine, passed away Saturday, June 16, 2018, at his home. Michael was born June 20, 1979 in Rochester, PA, son of Robert Michael Zorich and Rose Smith Scarcelli. Most recently, Mike had worked as a construction manager for Overland Contracting and joined the Black and Veatch family out of Pittsburgh, PA in 2015.

He had previously worked as a tower climber for Pinnacle Wireless, Rochester, PA and STG Communications, Columbiana, OH. Mike loved riding motorcycles but more importantly he loved spending time with his daughter, Theona, the love of his life. He is survived by his father, Robert Michael (Julianna) Zorich of Negley; mother, Rose Scarcelli of Bradenton, FL; his daughter, Theona Lynn Zorich of Monaca, PA; significant other, Danielle Campbell of Monaca, PA; brothers, Duane (Misty) Kalcevic of East Palestine, OH and Barry Barnett of NC; sisters, Lisa (Mike) Pellegrini of Fairmont, WV, Jessica Smith and Cynthia Smith; paternal grandmother, Annabelle “Mema” Zorich of New Brighton, PA; Mary and George Campbell of Monaca, PA; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, June 22, 2018, at the Van Dyke-Swaney-Rettig Funeral Home, East Palestine with Robert Helbeck, Minister officiating. Burial will follow in Glenview Cemetery, East Palestine. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Thursday, June 21, 2018, at the funeral home.
