Michael J. Mason, 64, of Myrtle Beach, passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2019. Mr. Mason was born a son of the late Susie Lee Sims Mason and Jack Mason. He was a veteran of the US Army and a machinist.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah L. Mason of Myrtle Beach; daughters, Audra Barnett (Timothy) of Pineville, NC and Karrie Buckman (Chris) of Surfside Beach, SC; grandchildren, Neil Buckman of Myrtle Beach, SC and Jackson Barnett of Pineville, NC; great-grandchild, Aria Ruvalcaba of Myrtle Beach, SC; brother, Calvin Mason (Wanda) of Garden City, SC; and sister, Rena Sellers of Blythewood, SC. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, May 31, 2019, at the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Florence National Cemetery.
