Michael “Mikey” Miilu 41 of Mass City passed away unexpectedly at work on Wednesday, January 23, 2019. He was born in Ontonagon on August 5, 1977 to Eino & Kristiina (Patana) Miilu. Mikey love the U.P. Especially the winters.

He enjoyed snowmobiling, skiing in his younger years, deer and small game hunting and being in nature in general. In the summer, Mikey loved stock car racing with his good friend Michael Truscott. He was an avid Green Bay Packer fan and loved to spend time with his many close friends.

Mikey is survived by his parents Eino & Kris Miilu of Mass City, brother Erik (Jessica) Miilu of Tampa, FL and numerous other family members. A memorial service is being planned for the spring and will be announced by the Cane Funeral Home of Ontonagon.
