Michele Barbera Matyas, 49 of Roscoe, passed away Monday, November 5, 2018 in the UPMC Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born May 17, 1969 in North Charleroi, the daughter of Roy Barbera and Joanne Wehousie Lorenzo. Michele was a graduate of Ringgold High School.

She was a member of the Roscoe American Legion. She loved going to the beach, especially Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Michele was the beloved wife of Michael Matyas, Sr., loving mother of Kellie Condie Diaz, Brittany Keruskin (Nick Patton) and Nicholas Keruskin (Tori Secilia) four grandchildren Donny, Jr., Kaiden, Adrien and Olivia; two sisters Gina (Butch) Leadbitter and Jenifer Barbera (Jeff Stump), brother-in-law Martin (Amie) Matyas; stepson Michael Matyas, Jr., (Alicia) and step-daughter Jenna(Manuel) Diaz; step-father Joseph Lorenzo and nieces Shana and Alexis Ferrante.

Proceeded in death by a son-in-law Donny Diaz. There will be no public visitation and a memorial service will be private. Arrangements were entrusted to the Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.
